Note: If you have a Laptop that has any of the following problems:
The screen flickers (the brightness is changing) while the power cord is plugged in. This is caused by the laptop switching between DC power (screen is brighter) and battery power (screen is dimmer).
Switching from mains to battery when the laptop is moved.
The DC plug gets hot after a few minutes of use and may even smell of burning.
There are "scratching" sounds coming from the DC Socket.
To test for broken power socket:
1. Remove the battery
2. Plug in the power cord
3. Start the laptop
4. Gently wiggle the DC power plug on the back of the laptop.
If the laptop cuts out it would suggest you need to replace your DC socket.
Warranty
This product carries a one year warranty against defects.
In the unlikely event of failure please email us with details and we will arrange for replacement.
Please note that physical damage is not covered by warranty.
